INSTRUCTIONS
Pakistan Origin Card (P.O.C.)
|
1. All persons of Pakistan origin, not holding Pakistani nationality can get the POC.
2. A person shall be an eligible foreigner of Pakistan origin or eligible for Pakistan Origin Card if he is a foreigner; and he had been a citizen of Pakistan at any time during his life. 3. On account of its utility, the Pakistan Origin Card is an identification document usable in place of NIC whenever required. However POC is more than just an identification document. Benefits 4. Please submit the following documents:
1. Completed ORIGINAL POC FORM with three photocopies. (POC forms are available at the Embassy. Pakistanis living outside Stockholm can send a self-addressed postal envelope to the Embassy, with a request for the form. Alternatively the same can be downloaded from the website: http://www.nadra.gov.pk/
2. Please fill the form with BLACK INK.
a. Clearly print or type in CAPITAL letters neatly within the box.
b. Leave one box empty after each word.
c. SHADE the box □ ■ in choice question.
3. THREE recent passport size PHOTOGRAPHS with BLUE background.
4. Three photocopies of NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD OR PAKISTANI PASSPORT. (Those Pakistanis who have got Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) from Pakistan, must surrender their cards along with their application if they want to get a POC.
5. Original Deposit slip (with two photocopies) of the fee paid in the Embassy account given below.
6. Birth Certificate or Person Bevis (in English) .
7. Return envelope with postage stamps (minimum SEK.70/-), with complete Name and Address of Applicant.8. Three copies of the Foreign Passport.
9. All Foreign Nationals of Pakistan Origin who intend to apply for POC card, Must apply for Renunciation of their Pakistan Nationality. For details please see www.nadra.gov.pk
10. If you have never held a Pakistani Identity Card or Pakistani Passport please enclose TWO copies of1. Marriage Certificate (with two copies) OR
2. Proof of Relationship with a Pakistani Citizen (Parents, Grandparents, Spouse or Children) with two copies.
Fee for POC:
Validity Fee (SEK)
7 years 860/- (for persons 18 years of age or more)
7 years 430/- (for persons less than 18 years of age)
Fee for the POC now can be deposited in Swedish Kronor in the following SEB account of the Embassy:
SEB NICOP/POC Account No.: 52771011948 or Facility for making payment by Credit/Debit Card is Now available at the Embassy.(Applicant's from outside Sweden can Pay their fee in Embassy's) IBAN no is: SE04 5000 0000 052771011948. Swift Address of SEB is: ESSESESS
Completed application forms in all respects may be sent to the Embassy for transmission to NADRA.
Please note that NADRA usually returns any incomplete forms without consideration. Hence please take due care in completing the above mentioned formalities.

Box 5872, 102 40, STOCKHOLM. This
will help us take prompt action on your application.
Cards are expected to be delivered in 8-9 weeks after the receipt of the application in the Embassy.
Telephone enquires about any important matter concerning consular cases are entertained only between 1430 to 1700 hrs.
Please note that Dual Nationality has been allowed between Sweden and Pakistan. Therefore Swedish nationals of Pakistani origin can now also keep their Pakistani passports, if they desire. Fore further details please visit the section on Dual Nationality.
